Requirement Overview

To conduct audits effectively and efficiently in accordance with PFMA and MFMA timelines, ISA standards, and AGSA policies and procedures.

Product

1. Conduct audits in the three phases: Planning, Execution, and Audit conclusion.
2. Plan the audit by: participating in defining objectives and scope, assessing risks, compiling the audit plan, and conducting walkthroughs.
3. Conduct fieldwork according to policies and procedures.
4. Execute tests for compliance, adequacy, reliability, efficiency, and safeguarding of assets.
5. Generate audit findings and submit for review.
6. Communicate progress and obstacles during the audit.
7. Participate in meetings to discuss recommendations and timelines.
8. Ensure audits are conducted according to internal policies within the allocated time frame.
9. Promote sound internal controls within the Business Unit.

Continuously improve competence through personal development, participating in learning and development programs, and staying updated with AGSA developments.

Project Management

Support the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective audits, manage projects efficiently, and provide input into audit planning and budgeting.

Skills, Experience & Education

• B Degree in Auditing, Computer Science, or Informatics.
• In-depth knowledge of auditing and informatics, awareness of emerging technologies and risks.
• Minimum 3 years of Information Systems Auditing experience.
• Experience with ERP environments (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft), cybersecurity, and CAATs/data analytics is advantageous.
