- The effective management of staff structure, subordinates, motivation and training of staff.
- Ensure high quality and standards of Industrial engineering activities.
- Ensure adherence to project and timing plans in line with the Product development timing programs.
- To manage project implementation and industrialisation of new products and technologies.
- Oversee the support of Industrial Engineering to the manufacturing function.
- Ensure high standards in the introduction of new facilities, plant improvements and equipment in the manufacturing plant.
- Ensure that accurate process inputs, time studies and line optimization activities are implemented.
- To ensure the accuracy of Bills of Materials, Process Inputs and the facilities layout.
- Capacity and resource planning
- Manage special facilities and plant engineering projects
- Material handling and methods design and development
- Logistics engineering activities to develop work methods for material flow and the control of all stock via controlled storage areas throughout supply chain
- Prepare and control Capital and Expense Budgets
- Oversee the accurate and on-time response of G8Ds and Corrective Action Reports.
- Approval of Project Layouts, Engineering Changes, Process Inputs.
- Drive continuous improvement throughout the organisation
- Ensure that Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental requirements are met at all stages of process planning and product industrialization.
Job Requirements :
- B-Tech Industrial Engineering Preferred : BSC Engineering equivalent qualification
- MBA would be advantageous.
- 5-10 years of management experience in the automotive manufacturing environment.
- Lean Systems and TPS, data systems and six sigma knowledge and skills required.
- Proficiencies in Excel and data analysis
- Project management
- Overall, 10 years of seasoned experience in Industrial Engineering in a manufacturing environment is required
