The Senior IM Enterprise Architect – Infrastructure is responsible for defining and governing the enterprise technology infrastructure architecture. The role ensures that strategies align with business objectives, operational needs, and industry best practices.
Key focus areas include enterprise-wide infrastructure strategy, cloud environments, networking, automation, and service management. The goal is to achieve outcomes related to cost optimization, risk mitigation, revenue growth, and sustainability.

Infrastructure Strategy & Roadmap: Define and maintain infrastructure frameworks and cloud strategies aligned with business needs and regulatory requirements.
EA Value Proposition: Establish the Enterprise Architecture function as an internal consultancy to support business strategy execution.
Minimum Viable Architectures: Apply reference architectures, standards, principles, and guardrails via EA governance.
Technology Evaluation & Standardization: Recommend infrastructure solutions that promote efficiency, innovation, and security.
Cloud & On-Premise: Drive cloud migration, SaaS adoption, and hybrid strategies.
Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce infrastructure spend.
Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to data security, privacy, and industry compliance standards.
Collaboration: Engage closely with IM, IT Security, and Business stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change: Support change management and adoption of new technologies.
Technical Guidance: Support consistency in infrastructure delivery using enterprise standards.
Innovation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend where relevant.
Promote a high-performing, inclusive culture aligned with the client’s values.
Foster continuous improvement and team engagement.
Ensure adherence to internal policies and external legislative/regulatory requirements.

5–7 years of experience in:
Infrastructure and/or Cloud Architecture
Leading cloud migration initiatives across business units
Modernizing and automating infrastructure in large-scale enterprises
Managing vendors, contracts, and system integrators
Operating within regulatory compliance frameworks
(Preferred) Experience in mining or similar operational industries
Deep expertise in cybersecurity, data privacy, and governance
Proficient in cloud platforms, virtualization, and hybrid systems
Experience in API management and enterprise system integration
Familiarity with data lakes, warehouses, and real-time analytics
Working knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and microservices
Advanced skill in data governance and digital transformation
Developing skills in AI and machine learning applications
High self-awareness and ability to influence positive team dynamics
Demonstrates determination, persistence, and consistent delivery of outcomes
Valid medical certificate of fitness
Willingness to travel when required
