Job summary

NTCSA in South Africa seeks a Senior Official Tech High Voltage Plant to ensure substation HV plant availability and safety through inspections and first-line maintenance at Apollo Converter Station.

The role requires performing weekly/monthly HV plant inspections, planning and executing maintenance tasks, conducting environmental inspections, and upholding strict safety standards. A Grade 12/NCV4/NSC3/N3 with 2 years of electrical plant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Grade 12/NCV4/NSC3/N3 and languages/qualification in the relevant function at NQF 4 with 120 Credits
• Experience: 2 years electrical plant experience

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly/monthly substation inspections, recordings and/or taking remedial actions.
• Plan & execute HV Plant maintenance tasks
• Perform Environmental inspection and take remedial actions.
• Safety responsibility.
