Senior Human Resource Consultant - Centurion

Position Description: The HR Services Consultant is responsible for offering front-line HR consultation and advice across all HR disciplines within HR Shared Services. This includes ensuring the provision of an excellent experience for all employees.

This role will interface with Line Managers, employees, as well as external stakeholders.

Responsibilities as a HR Consultant include:

1. Deliver efficient first-time call resolution while providing an all-round superior service and excellent employee experience.
2. Responsible for talent acquisition including sourcing, screening, assessment coordination, and placement of candidates.
3. Provide employee relations advice and support.
4. Provide support and advice related to, among others:
1. Talent Acquisition
2. Employee Relations
3. Training and Development
4. Performance and Transformation
5. Maintain and ensure adherence to agreed policies and procedures.
6. Assist and advise line managers and employees on the effective utilisation of relevant self-service options.
7. Maintain employee data and reporting.
8. Adhere to service level agreements and quality standards.
9. Develop and submit your client's WSP, ATR to the SETA.
10. Submit your client's Employment Equity reports to the DoL.

To apply you need to have:

1. HR or related degree (essential)
2. Minimum of 6 years' experience in HR
3. Cross-function HR knowledge (non-negotiable)
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. A working knowledge of HR systems and MS Office
6. High attention to detail, accuracy, and a methodical approach
7. Strong problem-solving abilities
8. A strong customer-centric approach with a high service delivery mindset
9. A professional approach with a solution-focused orientation
10. The ability to work independently and in a team-oriented manner
11. The ability to work in a pressurised, high-volume environment
12. Adaptability in a constantly changing environment
13. Experience in a retail environment will be advantageous.
