Reporting to the HRIS Manager, this individual will be responsible for leadership and guidance relating to all facets of the operational Workday HRIS (Human Resource Information System), including project management of new HRIS implementations, configuration of the system and assisting the HRIS Specialist with ongoing maintenance/support of the Workday HRIS. Although the central system is Workday, there are various other functional specific applications. This role will work closely with key stakeholders to develop solutions, ensure data consistency, data integrity and accurate generation and reporting of information.

What you’ll be doing

  1. HR Systems
  2. Lead and provide a project management service in relation to new HRIS implementations.
  3. Manage project and support governance relating to the Workday and related HRIS.
  4. System Administrator for the whole HR and Payroll-input system, providing troubleshooting support, liaison with the system provider to resolve issues.
  5. Work closely with the super-users in other companies in the group, to ensure full alignment of changes affecting global workflows.
  6. Assist with the implementations of new system functionality or modules.
  7. Be a system super-user for the HR system and provide support to the HR team and the business.
  8. Manage all system updates in close liaison with all stakeholders including IT, HR and Payroll users, employees and managers.
  1. HR Operational Effectiveness
  2. Lead knowledge share / transfer in terms of HR competencies related to the HRIS.
  3. Support HR projects in line with the Business Strategy.
  4. Provide support on HR administration auditing and processes.
  5. Create and update HR documentation, including policies, process, FAQ’s and ensuring the HR intranet is always up to date.
  6. Conduct annual audits on the sponsorship process and documentation in conjunction with the Immigration Advisor.
  7. Conduct and administer various surveys, including exit interviews with staff leaving the business and reporting on this data.

Essential skills you’ll bring to the table

  1. Relevant tertiary qualification is essential.
  2. Experience as a Manager or leading system implementations is essential.
  3. Experience with configuring HRIS business processes, notifications and workflows are essential.
  4. Experience in design patterns including configuration and quality assurance.
  5. Deep understanding of the following functional areas: HCM, Recruiting, Talent Management, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence.
  6. Ability to design and develop technical solutions that meet business requirements.
  7. Ability to consider holistic impact of changes being implemented.
  8. Understanding of integration and reporting process.
  9. Experience in leading large ERP implementation and support environments, including specific knowledge of HRIS.
  10. Experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders.
