Job description

Red Ember Recruitment is looking for an HR Manager for our client in Cape Town, we are looking for a candidate who is technically savvy, innovative, and goal-driven individual.

POSITION INFO :

The successful candidate will be responsible for :

  • Employee Relations.
  • Investigating, preparing, and initiating all formal discussions, disciplinary, and incapacity cases.
  • Representing the company at the CCMA.
  • Ensuring HR policies are reviewed and updated.
  • Providing legal advice.
  • Preparing and submitting the annual Employment Equity report.
  • Employee relations administration.
  • Recruitment.
  • Effectively managing the recruitment function.
  • Ensuring changes to employment terms are managed effectively.
  • Developing and maintaining an effective program.

Experience in :

  • Investigating and initiating disciplinary inquiries and CCMA hearings.
  • Supporting retrenchment processes.
  • Handling incapacity matters.
  • Recruitment and selection.
  • Experience in the submission of employment equity reports is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the South African Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Employment Equity Act, and any other relevant legislation.
  • Familiarity with HR information systems.
  • Excellent administrative skills, organizational abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements :
