About the Role

We’re hiring a highly skilled Power BI / Data Analyst to support both HR and Compliance functions. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who can transform complex workforce and regulatory data into actionable insights. You’ll work cross-functionally with HR, Legal, and Compliance teams to improve visibility, reporting, and data-led decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports across HR and compliance domains (e.g., headcount, attrition, training completion, policy adherence).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
  • Perform data transformation, cleaning, validation, and modeling for accuracy and consistency.
  • Integrate data from various systems such as HRIS, LMS, case management, and compliance tracking tools.
  • Automate manual reports and streamline data pipelines for recurring compliance submissions and HR insights.
  • Monitor data trends and surface key findings for leadership decision-making.
  • Ensure alignment with data privacy, governance, and audit standards (e.g., POPIA, GDPR).

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience with Power BI development and data analytics.
  • Strong command of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling best practices.
  • Hands-on experience working with HR and/or Compliance data.
  • Ability to interpret and visualize key compliance indicators and workforce trends.
  • Solid understanding of data quality, privacy regulations, and governance principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a focus on pivot tables and advanced formulas.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present data to non-technical audiences.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with SQL or Python for deeper analysis and data manipulation.
  • Experience with tools like Workday, Oracle HCM, SuccessFactors, SAP, or learning/compliance management platforms.
  • Understanding of internal audits, compliance reporting cycles, or risk assessment frameworks.
  • Previous experience in a regulated industry such as BPO, healthcare, banking, or telecommunications.
