Salary Type : up to $, + super per annum
Several Occupational Therapists are required for hospital-based roles in the Northern Territory.
You will join a team of 60 allied health clinicians, including Occupational Therapists, Podiatrists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians, Social Workers, Chaplains, and ALOs.
There are several options available: P2 or P3 level – acute focus : The caseload is adult-based and may be tailored to experience, including Renal, Ortho, Surgical, General Medical, ED, ICU, Stroke, and Palliative Care.
P2 or P3 level – rehab focus : For conditions such as neuro, stroke, amputee, ortho, medical, and brain injury.
Join this large allied health team, including some of my other locums, all of whom have extended their time with this hospital.
The team is inclusive and social, with support and supervision available.
85% of the caseload is Indigenous, with 50% coming from remote communities.
This is a great opportunity to develop your skills, with positive feedback from current locums.

Rates are up to P1 or P2 award levels, up to $, + super per annum depending on experience.
P3 award rates are up to $, + super per annum depending on experience.
Return travel is reimbursed upon completion of a six-month contract (with receipts).
Accommodation starts at $ per week.
You can enjoy salary packaging, 6 weeks of annual leave, and 3 weeks of personal leave per year (pro-rata for 6 months).
Full-time hours, Monday – Friday, with a preferred 6-month commitment.
The location offers great opportunities to explore the natural wonders of the Outback, including Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon, the West MacDonnell Ranges, the Larapinta Trail, the Simpson Desert, and NT watering holes.
