Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in South Africa, Gauteng seeks a Senior Building Operative to supervise domestic and maintenance services. You will ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff, manage Building Operatives, and undertake basic maintenance. Ideal candidates will have NVQ 3 or equivalent experience, with at least one year in a similar role. The salary ranges from £29,651 to £31,312 per year excluding allowances.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year's experience in domestic/maintenance services.
• Experience supervising staff in a similar context.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.

Responsibilities

• Allocate daily work activities to Building Operatives.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
• Conduct scheduled audits of cleaning standards.
