Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a category plan to optimise cost of goods, terms and revenue.
• Negotiate favourable trading terms and co-op spend; maintain vendor relationships.
• Source new suppliers and manage existing supplier networks.
• Execute plans to meet price, promotion and revenue targets.
• Translate financial plans into balanced product assortment and in-store displays.
• Support private label and exclusive brands development for differentiation.
• Review performance metrics like sales and margins against plans.
• Conduct range reviews and track market trends and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with marketing and Clubcard for effective plan delivery.
• Support Merchandise and Graduate Development programmes with training sessions
