NMG Consulting in South Africa is seeking a senior actuary to join its Data & Analytics team in a client-facing role. You will provide actuarial, analytical and strategic advice to clients across the healthcare sector, translating complex data into practical, commercially relevant insights and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.

You will lead engagements, shape analytical work, mentor junior staff and contribute to growing NMG’s healthcare analytics offering, working with partners

Qualificações

• Qualified actuary with significant post-qualification experience in SA healthcare.
• Strong ability to translate data and analysis into practical, commercially relevant insights.
• Proven track record in providing strategic input to senior clients.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and contribute to complex actuarial, data and analytics engagements in SA healthcare.
• Provide strategic actuarial and analytical advice to medical schemes and healthcare organisations.
• Act as senior adviser to clients; translate analysis into clear insights and actions.
• Lead client discussions and presentations with senior executives.
• Collaborate with Partners and colleagues to shape project approaches.
• Provide technical and strategic oversight to ensure robust analysis that aligns with client objectives.
• Build strong senior client relationships and identify opportunities to deepen partnerships.
• Contribute to development of data & analytics capabilities and propositions.
• Mentor junior team members and share expertise.
