Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Data Scientist with a focus on Health Analytics to join a remote-first team. You will lead projects, build advanced models, and work with clinicians and data engineers to drive data-informed strategies for better patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes designing scalable pipelines, staying current with ML and health informatics, and delivering actionable insights through visualizations and reports to various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Health Informatics, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional data science experience with a focus on healthcare analytics.
• Proficiency in Python or R and ML libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large, complex datasets.
• Familiarity with health data standards (HL7, FHIR) and regulatory requirements is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy predictive models to address healthcare challenges.
• Extract, clean, and transform large healthcare datasets (EHRs, claims).
