An established industry player in Facilities Management is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to ensure the smooth operation of their facilities. This role involves performing technical maintenance, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous professional development. Provide minor maintenance skills and knowledge within the Facilities Management environment, focusing on planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance.
Maintain tools and equipment, and keep records.
Familiarise with the site layout and facilities, adhering to client house rules. Establish good working relationships with management and staff. Respond to ad-hoc requests from management.
Inspect facilities to ensure proper functioning, including tiling, paved surfaces, partitioning, ceilings, roofs, windows, doors, and painted surfaces. Report defects and repairs to the manager.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards. Implement health and safety management systems with staff and subcontractors.
Note: Tasks may vary for operational reasons, and procedures may be amended by management as required.

Ability to take on additional responsibilities, integrate new clients, and make effective decisions at strategic, technical, and operational levels as needed.
