The South African National Biodiversity Institute seeks a creative Graphic Designer to produce professional layouts for publications and marketing materials. Candidates must have a degree in Graphic Design, solid experience in the field, and proficiency in design software like Adobe Creative Suite. The role demands strong project management and interpersonal skills, with responsibilities including project oversight and creative layout production.
The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) is looking for a creative, self-disciplined and self-motivated individual to produce professional layout of research and science-based books and publications and the production and layout of creative and professional computer generated graphics for use in publications, exhibitions, events, marketing material, etc., utilising devoted PC software (ADOBE Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw), and PC based hardware – all generated to the client’s satisfaction, within set timeframes and on budget.
This position requires a degree in Graphic Design or equivalent qualification at NQF 7. A postgraduate qualification in Graphic Design or equivalent degree at NQF 8 will be an added advantage. This position also requires 4 years of work experience in the relevant field.
