Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or Mineral Processing.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in mining/process engineering.
• Experience supporting PEA, PFS and Feasibility Studies.
• Gold processing facilities design, commissioning or operation experience.
• Experience scoping and managing metallurgical testwork programs.
• Experience modelling gold processing equipment and systems.
• Strong client focus and relationship skills.
• Ability to lead engineering tasks within budget and schedule.
• Ability to manage teams to meet quality, cost and schedule.
• Experience mentoring junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform process engineering tasks on minerals processing projects.
• Act as Lead Process Engineer on projects when required.
• Execute design calculations, equipment lists and criteria.
• Provide training and supervision to junior colleagues.
• Engage with clients to define scope, technology and criteria.
• Compile PFDs, mass and energy balances, and P&IDs.
• Undertake trade-off studies and manage test work programs.
• Conduct capacity analyses, equipment sizing and selection.
• Prepare process datasheets, specifications and descriptions.
• Design process control logic and contribute to hazard studies.
• Prepare operating/capital cost estimates and project reports.
• Contribute to proposals and business development activities.
