Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and interpretation of geotechnical investigations.
• Perform complex geotechnical analyses, including foundation design, slope stability analysis, seismic hazard assessment, and ground improvement design.
• Develop detailed geotechnical reports, specifications, and recommendations for a variety of projects.
• Collaborate with project teams, including structural engineers, civil engineers, and environmental specialists, to integrate geotechnical designs seamlessly.
• Manage geotechnical aspects of projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior geotechnical engineers.
• Review designs and reports prepared by other team members for technical accuracy and completeness.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in geotechnical engineering and relevant software.
• Communicate technical findings clearly and effectively to clients and stakeholders through written reports and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant national and international geotechnical standards and codes.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration or equivalent professional certification.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering consultancy.
• Expertise in geotechnical software such as Plaxis, GeoStudio, FLAC, or similar.
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and foundation engineering principles.
