Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney in SA with 8+ years post-admission experience.
• Strong background in General Litigation.
• Ability to manage matters independently from inception to conclusion.
• Excellent drafting, legal research and analytical skills.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Manage and handle a diverse general litigation practice
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients
• Draft and review pleadings, notices, applications, correspondence and legal opinions
• Conduct legal research and prepare matters for court proceedings
• Attend to High Court and Magistrates’ Court matters
• Manage client matters independently while maintaining high professional standards
• Work closely with the existing senior litigation team
• Assist with complex litigation matters and provide guidance where required
