Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain core gameplay systems and mechanics using C++ and game engine technologies.


• Collaborate with designers to prototype and iterate on new gameplay features, ensuring they are fun, balanced, and technically sound.


• Optimize gameplay code for performance, memory usage, and stability across target platforms.


• Debug and resolve complex technical issues within the gameplay codebase.


• Mentor junior programmers and contribute to code reviews and the overall improvement of programming practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Gameplay Programmer in the video game industry.


• Strong proficiency in C++ and experience with major game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity.


• Solid understanding of game design principles and the ability to translate them into robust code.


• Experience with performance profiling and optimization techniques.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment in East London .
