Placements24 in Centurion seeks a Lead Game Writer to shape the narrative backbone of upcoming titles, defining characters, plots, and dialogue across the game world. You will lead a team of writers and ensure storytelling quality.

Collaborate with design, art, and engineering to ensure narrative coherence, mentor junior writers, and manage the narrative production schedule in a fast-paced studio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in game writing, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role.
• A strong portfolio of published game titles with significant narrative contributions.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a keen ear for dialogue and character voice.
• Experience with narrative design tools and game development engines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the game's overarching narrative, including plot, characters, lore, and dialogue.
• Lead and mentor a team of game writers, providing constructive feedback and editorial guidance.
• Collaborate closely with design, art, and engineering teams to ensure narrative coherence and integration.
• Write high-quality scripts, dialogue, item descriptions, and other narrative content.
• Contribute to world-building and ensure the consistency of tone and voice throughout the game.
