Job summary

The role provides strategic legal guidance on gambling legislation, manages investigations and disputes, and builds effective relationships with law enforcement, prosecutors, and regulatory bodies. It also focuses on governance, risk, staff development, and reporting to support governance processes.

Qualifications

• B Degree in Law; 5–7 years’ experience in legal environments.
• Experience in a regulatory environment would be preferable.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and develop the Law Enforcement strategy aligned with the Board's objectives.
• Oversee law enforcement operations, investigations, disputes, complaints, and regulatory enforcement.
• Provide strategic legal and regulatory guidance on gambling legislation and compliance.
• Review investigation reports, enforcement actions, and ensure adherence to requirements.
• Develop relationships with law enforcement, prosecutors, regulatory authorities and stakeholders.
