Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing tax and audit processes.
• Provide necessary information to auditors and tax accountants for audits and tax returns within scheduled timeframes.
• Own client product delivery, managing internal and external timelines.
• Prepare/review quarterly management fee calculations, management accounts.
• Prepare annual financial statements according to applicable reporting frameworks.
• Handle distribution calculations and letters.
• Manage capital call calculations and letters.
• Perform carried interest and waterfall calculations.
• Conduct equalization calculations.
• Maintain investor registers.
• Process payments.
• Deliver other administrative tasks as per agreements.
• Manage client relationships and provide exceptional service.
• Act as primary client contact, responding to questions and requests.
• Lead regular client meetings.
• Coordinate with stakeholders such as valuations, treasury, investor relations, custodians, and management teams.
• Train and assist managers in developing junior staff, including onboarding and policy enforcement.
• Support team members as needed.
• Review agreements, including Service Level Agreements, to understand operational and reporting impacts.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting.
• At least 3 years’ experience in Fund accounting for Alternative Funds (Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt), with at least 1 year as a reviewer.
• Qualified accountant, ideally ACCA, CA, or CIMA.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and other GAAPs.
• Knowledge of Investran and/or Yardi is advantageous.
• Familiarity with tax-efficient European fund structures and related regulations is advantageous.
• Characteristics: accurate, self-motivated, able to work independently and in teams, deadline-driven, capable of managing a client portfolio.
