Job summary

AES Global is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (back-end-leaning) to contribute across back-end, front-end, database and product workflows in a mature SaaS environment.

You’ll design clean APIs, domain models and migrations, implement polished React interfaces, and write tests. Ideal candidate has 6+ years’ experience, strong Python back-end (FastAPI or async), TypeScript/React, and solid PostgreSQL skills. Remote within South Africa.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ professional software-engineering experience.
• Strong Python back-end experience, ideally with FastAPI or async frameworks.
• Strong TypeScript and React.
• Solid PostgreSQL — schema design, migrations and performance.
• Experience with async or event-driven systems, and good judgement in large existing codebases.
• Clear written communication and careful code-review habits.
• A CS degree strongly preferred, or equivalent senior-level experience with strong CS fundamentals.
