Job summary

PathCare in Cape Town is seeking a seasoned Full Stack developer with Spring Boot (Java) and Angular to design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise and client-facing web and mobile applications within a healthcare diagnostics environment. You will work in an Agile Scrum team, delivering robust features, scalable architectures, and well-documented code, ensuring high quality throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires 5+ years post-qualification experience in CS or IT, and a passion for quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years post-qualification experience in computer science or IT.
• Strong knowledge of Angular, Java, Spring Boot and RESTful services.
• Experience with microservices, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Angular (frontend) and Spring Boot (backend).
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs with front-end components.
• Optimize performance and scalability, and ensure high-quality code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes.
• Create and maintain software design and architecture documentation.
