Job summary

SavageOne Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for EKYC projects in Gauteng. You will build Java-based applications, design SOAP/REST services, and implement microservices in a containerized environment using Kubernetes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and documentation. The role requires strong Java/Springboot expertise, experience with microservices, and a solid understanding of relational databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in Java (8+) and Springboot.
• Experience with SOAP and RESTful services integration.
• Solid understanding of OOP and design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle).
• Experience with Git for version control.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality Java-based applications (Java 8+).
• Design and implement SOAP and RESTful services.
• Write efficient SQL for data persistence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and features.
• Provide estimates for PI items each quarter.
• Write clean, testable code following best practices.
• Use Git for version control and collaboration.
• Work with Kubernetes to monitor and optimize containerized apps.
• Design and implement microservices for modular architecture.
• Manage dependencies with Maven (Springboot) and npm/yarn (Node.js).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate delivery.
• Utilize JIRA and Confluence for tracking and documentation.
• Follow Agile methodologies for iterative development and delivery.
