Job summary

SavageOne Pty Ltd is hiring a Full-Stack eKYC Developer in Johannesburg to design, develop, and implement end-to-end eKYC solutions. You will integrate biometric authentication, OCR-based verification, and AI-driven identity checks into secure, scalable applications.

The role covers front-end in React/Angular/Vue.js and back-end in Node.js/Python/Java/.NET, with SQL/NoSQL databases and cloud/containerization in AWS/Azure/GCP on a secure platform. You will ensure compliance with KYC/AML and GDPR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate eKYC solutions for identity verification, fraud detection, and compliance.
• Implement biometric authentication (face recognition, fingerprint) and OCR-based verification.
• Develop APIs for seamless integration with banking, fintech, and enterprise applications.
• Design and develop front-end interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Build robust and scalable back-end services using Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Ensure efficient data storage and retrieval using SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with KYC/AML, GDPR, and other frameworks.
• Monitor performance, optimize scalability, and collaborate with UI/UX, product, and security teams.
