Boardroom Appointments in Cape Town is seeking a Senior Full Stack Web Developer with a passion for building scalable web applications. You will design, develop, test, and deploy features across the full stack, from backend APIs to modern front-end interfaces, ensuring high quality and performance.

The role requires hands-on experience with PHP frameworks and modern JS frameworks, plus strong collaboration with product and QA teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack development experience.
• Experience with PHP MVC frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel.
• Experience with Agile practices (TDD, refactoring, CI).
• Familiar with Git and JS toolchains (Bower, Grunt, Gulp).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems, applications and components.
• Learn the business domain and participate in the requirements gathering process.
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimisation and functionality.
• Participate in the agile software development lifecycle, including solutions review, validations and retrospective meetings.
• Utilise backend services and expand our architecture.
