Vista Group seeks a hands-on Senior Full Stack Developer – Team Lead in Cape Town. You’ll split 30% BE and 70% FE, leading a talented team to deliver best‑in‑class cinema websites globally.
You’ll own features, collaborate with Product Owners, BAs, and PMs, and champion quality through code reviews and peer programming. You’ll develop UI with React/TypeScript/HTML/CSS, build APIs, ensure cross-browser compatibility, and guide the team in Agile SDLC.
This is a hands-on Senior Full Stack Developer – Team Lead role, with a 30% BE / 70% FE split. You’ll work alongside, and lead, a talented team providing the best-in‑class, custom cinema websites worldwide.
Using your extensive experience with React.js, TypeScript, .Net, CSS/SCSS, REST APIs, you will own features and projects, collaborating with wider stakeholders such as Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Engineering Managers, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Experienced with modern Agile software development, you will advocate team quality and productivity through peer programming, code reviews, and of course your own development, producing a code base that is high quality, maintainable and always maturing.
Alongside your hands‑on engineering responsibilities, you’ll also provide people leadership for your team, supporting engineers through regular one-to-ones, feedback, career development, performance conversations, and day‑to‑day coaching, helping to create a healthy, capable, and highly autonomous team.
This is a hybrid role with a home and office-based split, requiring regular weekly (2 days per week) attendance in the Cape Town office.
