Job summary

Together Staffing group is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join a live platform critical to day-to-day operations. The role covers Java/Spring backend services, Angular frontend, databases, integrations, and production support, with ownership of delivering high-quality solutions.

You will design robust APIs, optimise queries, and ensure security and data privacy per POPIA/GDPR. Collaboration with operations to maintain production readiness is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong Java development experience.
• Spring Boot/MVC/Security expertise.
• Experience with Angular, TypeScript, RxJS.
• MySQL schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• GitLab or equivalent for source control/CI/CD.
• Experience with production, business-critical systems.
• Understanding of security, authentication, access control.
• Knowledge of POPIA/GDPR principles.

Our client has an opportunity for a senior Full-Stack Developer to work on a live platform that plays a critical role in day-to-day business operations. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across Java/Spring backend services, Angular applications, databases, integrations, and production support while taking ownership of delivering quality solutions.

Requirements

• Strong Java development experience.
• Solid Spring knowledge, particularly Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
• Strong Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS experience.
• Advanced working knowledge of MySQL, including schema design, indexing, and query optimisation.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• GitLab or equivalent experience covering source control, code review, and CI/CD.
• Proven experience working with production, business-critical systems.
• Good understanding of application security, authentication, authorisation, access control, and sensitive data protection.
• Knowledge of POPIA/GDPR principles.
