Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (Angular) to join a dynamic team in Johannesburg. You will collaborate with front-end and back-end developers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure web and mobile components using Angular and C# in a cloud-based environment.

The role emphasizes strong CS fundamentals, secure coding practices, and the ability to write automated tests and comprehensive documentation within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

• 4 to 5+ years of experience with C#.
• Knowledge of DevOps is a plus.
• Strong understanding of web protocols: REST, gRPC, HTTP, TLS, OAuth.
• Solid CS fundamentals: design patterns, algorithms and data structures.
• Security concepts: encryption, authentication, key management and API security.
• Experience designing test strategies and automating testing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with front-end, back-end and UX designers to improve usability and provide coding expertise.
• Implement cloud-based products and services.
• Integrate with external customer and third-party systems.
• Write efficient, optimised code; perform code reviews; write unit tests and documentation.

About the job Senior Full Stack Developer (Angular)

• 4 to 5+ years of experience with C#
• Knowledge & experience in DEVOPS (is a plus)
• Have general understanding of web related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, REST, gRPC, HTTP, TLS, OAuth)
• Solid understanding of the web application development life cycle
• Good understanding of computer science concepts, design patterns, algorithms and data structures
• Understanding of security concepts, such as, encryption, authentication, key management, trust zone and apps, API, communication and data security, permission management
• Experience with designing a test strategy, writing test cases and automating testing

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other front-end & back-end developers, and UX designers to improve usability, provide insight, expertise, and coding services
