Placements24 in Centurion, Gauteng, is seeking a seasoned Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and deploy both frontend and backend components for our e-commerce solutions. The role blends remote work with in-office collaboration, offering a flexible, high-performance environment.

You will drive architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, and deliver scalable software while working across React/Angular/Vue front-ends and Node.js/Python back-ends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks).
• Strong back-end experience with Node.js, Express.js, Python, Django/Flask.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment strategies.
• Git and Agile development experience.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a hybrid setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user-facing features using modern front-end frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).
• Build and maintain back-end code using Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Design and implement robust APIs and database schemas.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes into functional code.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security.
