Placements24 in Benoni, Gauteng is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our client’s team. This hybrid role blends in-office collaboration with remote flexibility as you design, develop, and maintain frontend and backend components of web applications, using modern frameworks and best practices.

You will drive the full development lifecycle from conception to deployment, contribute to architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, optimize performance and security, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full stack development.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Strong backend development skills in languages like Python, Node.js, Java, or C#.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker) is a plus.
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dynamic web applications across the full stack (frontend and backend).
• Design and implement user interfaces with a focus on responsiveness and usability.
• Develop and manage robust backend services, APIs, and databases.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and deliver new features.
