Placements24 is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a remote-first team serving clients in South Africa. You will design, build, and maintain front-end and back-end components for cutting-edge web applications, collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers.

You will own features end-to-end, contribute to architectural decisions, and help scale the platform while thriving in a remote environment. Strong portfolio and expertise across modern stacks are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Strong back-end experience with Node.js, Python, or Java and building RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Docker.
• Understanding of Git, CI/CD, and testing methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and remote collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Requirements

• Solid experience with back-end languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby) and building RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker).
• Understanding of software development best practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD, and testing methodologies.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, adapted for a remote work environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
