Placements24 is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer with Web3 expertise in Sandton to build intuitive, secure interfaces for blockchain apps. You will bridge complex decentralized tech with user-friendly experiences, working closely with product and backend teams.

You will lead UI development, optimize performance, and help integrate wallets and smart contracts while maintaining high quality and documentation across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of frontend development experience, with at least 2 years focused on Web3 technologies.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
• Experience with blockchain wallets (e.g., MetaMask) and interacting with smart contracts via libraries like ethers.js or web3.js.
• Solid understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with state management libraries and UI component libraries.
