Placements24 is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer in Sandton to translate complex UI/UX designs into responsive, visually appealing web applications.

You will collaborate with designers and backend engineers, implement pixel-perfect interfaces, and optimize performance while mentoring junior developers in a fast-paced product team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Expertise with at least one major frontend framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Experience with state management libraries, build tools, and testing frameworks.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and a strong portfolio demonstrating design sensibility.
