Placements24 is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer in Randburg, Gauteng to build and enhance user-facing applications. You will leverage React or Angular to develop engaging interfaces and collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend engineers.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of frontend experience, strong JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and state management skills, plus a passion for modern frontend trends in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, software engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Proven expertise building complex user interfaces with either React or Angular.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux/NgRx).
• Familiarity with frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, Grunt).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and SEO best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
