Job description

Senior Frontend Developer (ASP.NET) required in Cape Town.

Frontend ASP.NET developer role in a growing fintech company. Hybrid setup, great benefits, and a chance to shape user-facing applications in payments.

Location: Blouberg, Cape Town (Hybrid – 2 days in office).

Salary: R90 000 – R110 000 CTC per month.

Minimum Requirements

• IT-related tertiary qualification (Preferred)
• 5 or more years’ commercial development experience in payments, SaaS, or transactional platforms
• 5 or more years’ ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC experience
• Proficiency in VB.NET and C#
• Javascript, jQuery, Ajax, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
• SQL: stored procedures, table structures, design & maintenance
• Visual Studio, testing frameworks, frontend tools
• Advantageous: .NET MAUI, .NET Core, Xamarin

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ASP.NET frontend applications
• Implement visual elements with usability and performance in mind
• Optimise apps for speed, scalability, and compatibility
• Update and enhance websites and applications
• Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and stakeholders
• Troubleshoot coding and UI issues urgently
• Stay updated with frontend technologies and practices
• Contribute to documentation and training
• Participate in stand-ups and track progress
