University of Fort Hare invites applications for a Front-End Loader Operator – Mining based in Marble Hall, Limpopo. This permanent role supports mining and material handling operations with emphasis on safety, reliability and productivity.

The ideal candidate has a valid Front-End Loader Operator Certificate and at least five years of loader experience, preferably in mining, quarry, or lime industries, and will pass a practical assessment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric preferred.
• Valid and verifiable Front-End Loader Operator Certificate.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience operating front-end loaders.
• Mining, quarry, aggregate, lime or similar heavy-industry experience advantageous.
• Experience with stockpile, hopper and truck loading operations.
• Valid Medical Certificate of Fitness.
• Valid Code B driver’s licence advantageous.
• Must pass a practical operator assessment.
• Proven safe and responsible machine operation.
• Positive references confirming responsible equipment operation.

• Operate front-end loaders safely and efficiently to support mining and material handling operations while maintaining equipment and production standards.
