Placements24 is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to join a dynamic technology team. This fully remote role allows you to work from anywhere within South Africa while delivering high-quality, responsive user interfaces for complex web applications.

You will collaborate with backend developers and designers, optimize performance, and participate in architectural decisions. The role emphasizes clean code, modern front-end practices, and remote collaboration with a talented, distributed team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with modern frameworks.
• Experience with Redux or Vuex and build tools like Webpack.
• Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with Git and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and remote teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality, responsive UIs using React, Vue, or Angular.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into interactive web experiences.
• Optimize front-end performance for speed and scalability across devices.
• Write clean, maintainable code with proper documentation and standards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end bugs reported by QA or users.
