Placements24 is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join our fully remote engineering team. Based remotely but with ties to Stellenbosch, you will build accessible web apps using modern JavaScript frameworks and collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver great user experiences.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of frontend experience, strong JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend development experience and a strong portfolio.
• Expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and modern frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and accessible UI development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy responsive user interfaces with modern JS frameworks.
• Translate designs into clean, maintainable code and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend logic.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot frontend bugs and performance issues in production.
