Job summary

Belay Talent Solutions seeks a Front End Senior Developer with strong React and React Native experience to join our Pretoria team. You will design, develop, test, and document scalable front-end solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in front-end development, proficiency in React, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript, and familiarity with Next.js, Tailwind, and APIs. This is a permanent on-site role in Menlyn Maine, Pretoria.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience as a Front-end Developer or similar role.
• Proficient in React, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
• Experience with React Native, NextJS, Tailwind, React Query, MSSQL and Azure is beneficial.

Front End Senior Developer (React / React Native)

(Permanent: Menlyn Maine, Pretoria)

About the Role:

• Design and develop robust, testable, and maintainable software solutions.
• Document software, in particular business rules and key technical decisions.
• Research and make suggestions on how to improve our existing systems.
• Analyze, diagnose and resolve software errors.

What We're Looking For:

At least 8 years' experience as a Front-end Developer or a similar role working with the following technologies:

• React (Mandatory)

• Experience with Tailwind (Beneficial)
• Experience with React Query (Beneficial)
• Experience with MSSQL (Beneficial)

• Restful service experience (Beneficial)

Experience: (Specific Relevant Fulltime experience in above Technologies):

• Senior Developer: (Minimum 8 Years of above mentioned experience)

Qualifications:

• Tertiary Education: Degree in Computer Science or Relevant equivalent IT Diploma.
• Matric or equivalent qualification recognized by the Department of Higher Education & Training.

Daily Tasks:

• Assess, develop, upgrade and document application software.
• Consulting with fellow colleagues, other teams, managers & executives concerning enhancements and development of the application software.
• Document and direct software testing and validation procedures.
• Research, analyze and evaluate requirements for software applications.
• Advise on areas that could be improved on and keep up to date with new trends in software development and technologies that can be used to benefit the Company.
