Job summary

Belay Talent Solutions in Pretoria is seeking an Front End Intermediate Developer with React and React Native skills to design, develop, test, and document software solutions.

You will collaborate across teams, implement UI with HTML/CSS/TypeScript, and work with NextJS, Tailwind, and RESTful services. The role is permanent, on-site at Menlyn Maine, Pretoria, with opportunities to grow in a dynamic tech environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of front-end development experience with modern web technologies.
• Strong knowledge of React, HTML, CSS and TypeScript.
• Experience with React Native is a plus; NextJS and Tailwind are beneficial.

About the Role:

• Design and develop robust, testable, and maintainable software solutions.
• Document software, in particular business rules and key technical decisions.
• Research and make suggestions on how to improve our existing systems.
• Analyze, diagnose and resolve software errors.

What We're Looking For:

At least 3 years' experience as a Front-end Developer or a similar role working with the following technologies:

• React (Mandatory)

• Experience with MSSQL (Beneficial)

Experience: (Specific Relevant Fulltime experience in above Technologies):

• Intermediate Developer: (Minimum 3 Years DT Technologies Relevant Experience)

Qualifications:

• Tertiary Education: Degree in Computer Science or Relevant equivalent IT Diploma.
• Matric or equivalent qualification recognized by the Department of Higher Education & Training.

Daily Tasks:

• Assess, develop, upgrade and document application software.
• Consulting with fellow colleagues, other teams, managers & executives concerning enhancements and development of the application software.
• Document and direct software testing and validation procedures.
• Research, analyze and evaluate requirements for software applications.
• Advise on areas that could be improved on and keep up to date with new trends in software development and technologies that can be used to benefit the Company.
