Status Staffing in Somerset West is seeking a dedicated forklift operator for a permanent role in our food production facility. You will load and offload goods, move materials within the warehouse, and support receiving, checking and stocking processes.

The ideal candidate has a matric with forklift license, 35 years experience, high accuracy, and proven experience in manufacturing environments, with a commitment to health and safety and teamwork.

• 35 years experience as a forklift driver.
• Matric qualification with a valid forklift license.
• Forklift license required.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in a production environment.

Mansioni

• Operate a forklift safely and in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Load and offload goods from trucks, containers, and storage areas.
• Transport raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse or production facility.
• Assist with receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock.
• Pick and prepare orders for dispatch accurately and on time.
• Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
• Ensure proper stacking and storage of goods to prevent damage or loss.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
