Job summary

Lesaka International is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to drive cross-functional coordination, governance, and scalable execution across multiple markets within a fintech environment.

The role focuses on process optimisation, digital enablement, and operational excellence, partnering with Operations, Technology, and Data teams to deliver improvements and strategic initiatives. A leadership presence is essential for guiding multi-country rollout and governance.

Qualifications

• Matric is mandatory.
• Diploma or degree in Business Management, Operations Management or Project Management or related field preferred.
• 4–6+ years’ experience in Operations, Service Delivery, or Operational Management.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional activities without direct authority.
• Experience leading operational projects and process improvements.
• Exposure to fintech, banking, telecommunications, payments or multi-country operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as the central coordination hub across Operations, POS, Risk & Compliance, Customer Care, and Shared Services.
• Align stakeholders to execute operational priorities and initiatives.
• Identify and remove cross-functional bottlenecks impacting service delivery.
• Drive root-cause analysis and preventative actions for recurring challenges.
• Define pilots, operational testing, and field deployments across markets.
• Own and maintain the International Operations Playbook and SOPs.
