Description:

The Senior Financial Wellness Consultant's main responsibilities are to assist corporate employees in improving their overall financial wellbeing through the evaluation of their financial situation, providing consolidation and/or personal loan solutions, and educating employees on basic principles of good financial health.

Contribute to Bayport Financial Services' growth and profitability by offering Money Solutions products and services to corporate employees in line with Bayport's corporate strategy.

Requirements:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. A Level 7 qualification in Finance, Commerce, or Marketing; OR
2. An NQF Level 4 and 5 years of experience with high performance in loan sales at Bayport.
3. People engagement is a key requirement.
4. Financial literacy knowledge and skills – reasonable understanding of personal finance, debt, and savings.
5. Ability to explain basic financial concepts to others.
6. Passion and desire to assist people in financial distress.
7. Must be willing to work flexible hours.
8. Must be fluent in English (verbal and written).

At least one or two African languages will be an advantage.

A valid driver's licence - Code B.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

1. Experience in liaising with external service providers and third-party management.
2. Debt rehabilitation and debt counselling/consultation experience/knowledge.
3. Debt evaluation and distress detecting abilities.

PREFERRED INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:

1. Debt counselling, debt administration, and legal process understanding.
2. Basic knowledge of the National Credit Act (NCA).
3. Credit industry knowledge.
4. Experience in accounting/financial services jobs.
