Refined Naturals in Johannesburg is seeking a strategic and experienced Group Account Director to lead senior client accounts, shape communications strategies and guide multi-channel campaigns. You will translate complex financial topics into clear narratives, mentor account teams, manage budgets, and drive growth across key clients in banking and corporate communications.

The role requires 8–10 years of agency experience, strong stakeholder management, and a commercial mindset under pressure.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years’ agency client service experience.
• Strong financial services, banking, fintech or corporate communications experience
• Banking or financial institution experience is highly advantageous
• Strong strategic communications and reputation management skills
• Experience managing senior stakeholders and leading teams
• Experience delivering integrated campaigns
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, Business or related field
• Excellent communication, organisation and relationship-building skills
• Commercially minded, strategic and calm under pressure
