We are looking for a Senior Financial Manager who is responsible for the delivery of accurate, timely, and IFRS-compliant financial reporting across the group. This role ensures compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations and manages the group’s audit, consolidation, and external financial communication processes.
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Ownership of month-end close & consolidations
- Statutory accounts, IFRS & regulatory reporting (including all SARS related items)
- Maintenance of financial controls & policies
- Budgeting & forecasting process
- Quarter end, Budget, 3YR plan
- Board & Executive Reporting
- Serve as the key liaison with auditors, regulators, and company secretaries
- Support internal teams with technical accounting guidance and IFRS updates

Job Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- CA(SA) or equivalent Chartered Accountant qualification (essential)
- 8+ years post-articles experience in financial reporting, with at least 3 years at a senior level
- Strong background in group consolidations, statutory reporting, and IFRS compliance
- Experience working with or within a listed company environment
- Big 4 audit background or regulatory reporting experience is highly advantageous
- Exposure to FinTech, Financial Services, or high-growth digital businesses is preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Expert knowledge of IFRS and group consolidation principles
- Understanding of listing requirements
- Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency environments
- Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills
- Familiarity with internal control frameworks
