As a Senior Financial Manager you will be responsible for leading the operational accounting function. Ensuring accurate financial reporting compliance with financial standards and management of the accounting team. The role requires the candidate to be highly numerate well organised and deadline driven.

Key Responsibilities of a Senior Financial Manager :

As part of your role your responsibilities will include :

Lead Mentor and Develop the Accounting function

Financial Reporting and Analysis :

Prepare accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.

Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.

Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Corporate Governance :

Drive team with the statutory manager to complete group and in country audits timeously and provide updates to the CFO on progress and issues identified.

Taxation :

Review of all tax returns including income tax annual returns VAT Gaming taxes Incountry reports etc.

Cash Flow Management :

Monitor and manage the organizations cash flow.

Review and approve weekly payments ensuring that the correct amounts and suppliers are paid.

Process Improvement :

Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial operations.

Implement best practices in financial management.

Essential skills youll bring to the table

The necessary skills that we require for this role include :

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.

Experience working collaboratively in crossfunctional teams with a focus on achieving shared goals.

Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously with a track record of delivering on time and within scope.

Exceptional attention to detail ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs.

Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations.

B Com (Accounting) with completed Articles CA (SA) CIMA or equivalent.

Accounting review experience.

Minimum 3 years managerial experience.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems

Knowledge of IFRS and / or US GAAP

It will be valuable if you also have the following skills :

Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations.

Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions ensuring adherence to legal standards.
