Job summary

SavageOne Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to support the Head of Finance by maintaining accurate records, processing day-to-day transactions, and assisting with monthly closings up to trial balance.

You will ensure data integrity, compliance with accounting standards, and contribute to monthly management reports while developing expertise in accounting operations within a dynamic team in Johannesburg.

Qualifications

• BCom Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
• Strong computer literacy and Advanced Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central is non-negotiable.
• Must have own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of annual financial budgets.
• Sign off and review creditors payments.
• Maintain creditors ageing and monthly reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements.
• Support accounts and finance staff and supervise junior team members.
