Senior Financial Accountant

Financial Control
- Oversee Shared Service, Transactional, and Accounting functions for accurate month-end reporting.
- Manage Working Capital (Debtors, Creditors, Cash) accurately.
- Review and approve creditor payments and bank transactions.
- Handle banking relations and ensure a stable financing environment.
- Coordinate external audits and financial statements.
- Keep company secretarial documents updated and compliant.
- Prepare and submit tax returns on time.
- Assist in managing insurance policies to mitigate risks.
- Ensure monthly financial reports are accurate and timely.
- Maintain asset registers, company vehicles, cell phones, expense claims, and petty cash.
- Lead the budgeting process with Sales and Logistics.
- Implement internal controls and policies for efficient processes.
Trade Finance (Transactional)
- Manage weekly payment processes.
- Handle foreign exchange requirements and improve FEC Summary sheet efficiency.
- Align processes and controls between departments.
- Work with the sales team to ensure accurate invoicing.
- Act as Finance Representative.
- Record and validate FEC transactions.
- Assist with pre-season cost setup to ensure accurate cost recovery.
- Lead end-of-season pool reconciliation.
- Report to various stakeholders accurately.
- Assist with exceptional claim pay-out calculations and confirm accuracy.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Management Accounting (Honour's degree preferred).
- Registered with SAICA or CIMA (essential).
- Driver's License (essential).
Experience
- Experience in a commercial multinational company (preferred).
- ERP system experience (preferred).
- Inventory experience (preferred).
Skills
